Isaac Asimov was a prolific American writer and professor of biochemistry at Boston University. During his lifetime, Asimov was considered one of the "Big Three" science fiction writers, along with Robert A. Heinlein and Arthur C. Clarke. Author of science fiction works, including The Foundation series, The Robot series, The Bicentennial Man, and I, Robot. He is considered part of The Golden Age of Science Fiction.
